For the Want of It.

I wonder when the meaning of the word "want" was corrupted so-to signify a higher degree of lust than possession.I find "want" to be stronger than love.Maybe because "want" better describes a state of mind that is so fleeting, yet so completely overwhelming. There seems to be a greater degree of ownership and individual controlled/driven (as opposed to fate-controlled) action in a feeling that is described as wanting.

Point being, to paraphrase A, who will forever be the inspiration behind most of my sleepy ramblings, want is the new love.

i can imagine that some wants having a temporal parameter (i want blah for the next month/year/until armageddon) .. in that case wants are not fleeting anymore ?

to nice try: i want chocolate vs i WANT chocolate. maybe the 'true' WANTS are fleeting, while wants are not?

to dya: what we want *intersection* what we truly need = what will actually work out!
