Is it easier to over-write memories than override them? Is it easier to replace or remove?

i believe it is much easier to remember conveniently altered versions
Neither removal nor replacement is effective... acceptance works best.
-agree with altered versions...memories seem to embellish the truth more liberally than I would like to concede.
-u accept and then what?what happens to it in your mind- do u retain the memory/do u give it up/do u compulsorily over-write?
